In 1989 I visited Zimbabwe to produce photographs for an exhibition to portray the daily life of an African country. I chose Zimbabwe as I had become friendly with many musicians from that country as a result of my involvement with the music festival Harambe Africa!. The images were shown in Newcastle the following year as part of that year's festival.

SWRadioafrica (also staffed by Zimbaweans in exile) broadcasts on short wave which can be received in Zimbabwe, they can also be heard on the medium wave and the internet.
